Hope In Spite Of Being Homebound

As we navigate this time of uncertainty we grasp for something that will give us hope.  The President gets on television and tries to offer hope by referring to the “Professionals,” they try to offer hope by referring to statistics, the news media doesn’t offer much hope at all and we all get tired of being stuck at home without much hope of getting out any time soon.  People are yearning to go out to a restaurant and having a meal.

The only real hope there is today is in the Lord.  I know to some that may seem like just words, but the Lord has proven Himself trustworthy to me time and time again!

Psalm 42:5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.

The Biblical definition for hope is an expectation or confidence in the Lord.  Knowing that He will do exactly what he says he will do.  In light of the current events, the pages of Scripture are unfolding before our eyes!  Remember that much of the history that is in the Bible was prophecy at one time.  The one-world government, one-world monetary system, and even a one-world religion seem as though they will be very easy to pull off in today’s world.  All of which has been prophesied in Scripture to take place in the last days.

I have confidence that all these things will come to pass, because, my hope is in God not in a political, monetary or religious system.  I also have the expectation of arriving in heaven someday.  Nothing can change that.  I can say that my hope is in the Lord because I have placed my faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ!

You too can have the hope of heaven today.  Admit that you are a sinner and need forgiveness for your sin.  Believe on Christ as your sacrifice for sin and ask the Lord to forgive you. Then your hope of heaven will be in God, not in yourself or some good work.

Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Have hope in these uncertain times.  Believe in God, He will keep you through the troubles, and deliver you home!  You will get out of this house and got to your home in heaven.  Have hope In Spite of Being Homebound!
